Is it strange that I am a bit worried by a real world submarine drawing that borrows so much from my drawing of an submarine of a different nation with a different propulsion system that I get credited for it? It doesn't seem that likely that this would share...

Pretty interesting, but I do have some comments. I do get some of the changes were changes for the sake of changing stuff (not cheating) but I'll note some that I found less plausible then the real world solutions ;) It's a cool drawing though! - I really think the original locations for both the ph...

I have a few tiny comments on this excellent drawing. - First of all, I would personally make the openings in the bulwark next to the forward superstructure in black, not grey, as they are openings. - Second, I think that surface search radar is an SPS-10, right? there is an better looking part for ...

Minor comment here: The name of the last artist always comes last. So on your initial 4 drawings here, the credits now say this was drawn by Vossiej based on original work from the others, while it was the other way around :P I'm not sure if the hull shading you put on the spruance and tico hulls is...

1. Well, having half a Friesland plant would not be bad, look at the Royal Navy Type 12 frigates, or even the slightly later Leanders which had basically that. The Type 12 were quite a bit lighter IIRC, so could reach higher speeds on that power. It all boils back to what does the ship need to do, a...

In the late 1970's, the CSGN program was cancelled. It was understood then that such ships, while very capable, would never be build in enough numbers that they could fulfill the tasks the US navy had to perform. A series of small and medium sized ships was what the USN needed, not giant nuclear com...

Hello! good to see I am not the only one who thinks the Dutch 1947 A and B class ships are amazing ships :P These drawings are not bad at all, and on first glance they look like working designs. You just have the tiny bit of bad luck that I have researched the 1947 destroyers well and based on that ...

I've found full hull plans for the titanic on google in the past, those are a far better source for shading than any drawing.

I personally would not recommend drawing in the hull plating ;) As Hood says, it is usually not visible from the distance a ship is seen from when it is the size of a shipbucket drawing, and it usually even a distraction from how the ship really looks.

In 2003, the HSA (High Speed Alliance)(Consisting of an cooperation between the Belgian and Dutch railway companies) won the concession for the new Dutch high speed railway system. It would start operations in 2009, taking over the international route between Brussels and Amsterdam (With stops in Ro...
