Thanks for the ID, I think the artist (Paul Wright) used a different bridge structure, which might have been what threw me off.

The cover to a 1981 reprint of a 1977 thriller novel, I'm not sufficiently familiar with Soviet era hardware to determine if the ship on the cover is a real design or freelanced.

The ship that is ramming the V & W class destroyer, seems like a Tribal class or maybe J, K, and N class destroyer, at least judging from the gun mountings and bridge layout. It will most likely be what I like to term one of the authors 'J, K & N' class destroyers, it's very rare that he identifies...

I agree, I'd been using Photobucket for a while now to hold various images that could not be hosted on forums, now I cannot use it in that way. Looks like I will have to download various images and upload them to Dropbox now.

That looks to be a nice set of finds. I know that the last book has been made available in e-book form by Endeavour Press, but it lacks photographs and maps.
