Great to see this here. I'm not so familiar with these ships but did they really have railings around the flight deck? There's no LSO platform on the port side aft. The top down view of the bridge hasn't been finished.

Thanks, Ian. I've updated the drawing with a few alterations.

I'm planning on updating the Langley drawing which has many many inaccuracies. I thought I'd start with the Jupiter.

Thanks a lot Mike. This is perfect. Can't believe I forgot the searchlight :? The name on the bow is actually there but the font is way too small to be represented at this scale. The structure you circled under the bridge is not there on the plans. What is that, a leadsman's platform or something? A...

I think they were removed from Langley in 1929, CV's 2 and 3 commiss...

Stunning work. The bar just keeps getting shifted higher.

Interesting that you can't see the main armament in the head on view. AA was a priority.

Thanks for the comments. a proper scheme would do wonders us naval aircraft were painted all over light grey in 1941. I really dislike the black line outlining the transom and the hull knuckle, not being 90° angles I believe they shouldn't be black but rather a dark shade I used Colo's drawing of th...
