On a closer look, the Cora-class forward turrets are indeed different from the aft ones. The forward turrets have a sotr of "cut" in the upper back, while the aft ones appear to be more squared. I admit I got initially confused because somehow I assumed Rhade was talking about the cruisers instead. ...

@Trexslee After a year of presence and 63 forum posts, You should be able to send a PM to BB1987 on Your own. Personally, I guess it took Him between several hours to up to several days, but that depends on how much time he could devote to drawing each day. What difference does it make, anyway? Dra...

Shading is indeed a matter of personal interpretation, I'd also say that Ace's probably do better represent the Perry's hull shape. Yet, I'd still ask: why revert back to those ungainy kinks on the bow, the old window colour, the black waterline, and disegard Colosseum's USN antifouling red which I ...

I cannot say I'm not feeling honoured by winning this contest as well, but I have to be completely honest, this win took me by complete suprise. I thought and I still think that there are almost half-a dozen works (Garlic, Grumpykestrel, Charguizard, Rodondo and wb21) that are definitely more worth ...

Here is my entry for the contest (and thanks for the extended deadline or I would have not made it :) ), the Yorihime Class destroyer: The two sisters of the Yorihime class were the first postwar Kokoan destroyers that were not either a repeat of a wartime design (the Hatas, literaly an improved Aki...
