Nice work. I'm a little bit confused though - are you the artist for both of these drawings, or are you posting the second one on someone else's behalf? They're credited to two separate artists. From a drawing standpoint, the underwater hull shading on the Type 054B looks very basic as compared to t...

Based on the British River - class frigates, the American Tacoma - class was designed to be built quickly and cheaply in order to fulfill an urgent requirement for convoy escorts. The construction would be contracted out to a number of smaller, commercial shipyards that would employ prefabrication t...

Nice work! I'm not in love with the colour of the bridge windows, but that's a personal preference. Perhaps they could use some shading as well given the overhang above?

Interesting idea. I have a few questions/comments in no particular order: 1) I'm somewhat doubtful that you have the hull depth to accommodate the Strike-length VLS required to carry TLAM in that position. 2) Does the TRS-4D radar have the capability to provide guidance for SM-2? I suspect you might...

Hi rainmaker, I have something in the late stages of work in progress of an all new SPG-51. How fast do you need it? That’s fantastic! I’m in no rush, take your time. I’m working on two variants of the never-built Canadian General Purpose Frigate (GPF) project from the early 1960s with correspondin...

Hi all. I believe it was mentioned that there was a new top view in progress for the AN/SPG-51, based on the new side view that Garlicdesign created for the Cassard - class frigates. I'm just wondering if that top view has been made available, or if I should give it a go myself and see if I can come...

Lots of great work in this thread lately by everyone. Really loving those Air Tractors in particular, good work Darthpanda! Looking forward to seeing some paint schemes for those.

I've been browsing through this thread and your IIWiki page - I have to say, this is one of the most thoroughly fleshed-out AUs I've ever seen. It's clear that you've put a tremendous amount of time and energy into this. The cross-sectional views of the various ships and submarines are particularly ...

Great work Hood - I have to echo Eswube's comments, that missile corvette is interesting to say the least! It's also great to see the Type 121 getting a much-needed re-draw. I find it interesting to see how different design choices can produce a radically more capable design. The Dutch managed to fi...

The Penguin is an interesting design. I feel like the logistics of trying to get up on top of the wing to load a Sidewinder while operating within the confines of a carrier flight deck is going to pose an interesting challenge, to say the least. I see no reason that you couldn’t do an outboard wing ...
