It's looking good to me. I'd maybe include some more details, like paravanes/booms, boat booms, etc. Maybe look at USN cruiser drawings of a similar era for ideas... the sky's the limit for small details, since you're not drawing a real ship. ;)

Re: "weapons sheet", I definitely don't want to see ridiculous TOE tables and stat listings (I wouldn't read them anyway), maybe just a description of what each one is and its basic purpose... something like "RGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missile" or equivalent would satisfy me. ;)

Looks pretty good to me! I have only a few suggestions: 1. The Mark 33 director foundations are straight vertical columns, not tapered. 2. I kind of adjoin the comments from Ace about the shading on the signal bridge. I know the signal bridge itself is somewhat shaded by the armored conning tower ah...

These are really cool - I especially like the torpedoes and missiles. I'd love to see a sheet or something explaining what each one is!

These are really cool. I don't know much at all about merchant shipping (especially Japanese-inspired stuff) so it's interesting to see the types of ships that would have been the targets of all the submarines I've been drawing recently. ;)

Thanks guys. :) http://shipbucket.com/drawings/7235/file This is DACE (SS-247) in May of 1945, at the start of the boat's seventh war patrol. She is camouflaged in Measure 32/3SS-B - the standard grey scheme with black pressure hull found to be very effective at defeating surface observation. DACE s...

One minor adjustment I'd make to an area that new artists seem to struggle with. Bows of ships generally do not change shape at the waterline.

Thanks guys. http://shipbucket.com/drawings/7234/file This is COBBLER (SS-344), as the ship appeared in November of 1948 while underway to Groton, CT, for conversion to a GUPPY design. The boat is camouflaged in Measure 32/3SS-B, though the pattern has been painted in the sharper postwar pattern tha...
