Since I've seen so many replies to my question :roll: I thought I'd post a few parts to show how much of an improvement (in my opinion) this scale is.

I've made good headway with the drawing but I'm still far away from completing it, I'm not sure wither to post what I have so far or wait to when its completed. Its so hard fighting the urge to post it btw haha.

Suggestions?

Really nice drawing and great detailing. I’m not sure detailing the individual panels does anything for the drawing however, if you look at other drawings the majority they don’t have them I think it’s because it goes against the rules. The update’s an improvement on an already great drawing. I do prefer the curve of the handrail at the bow of the original drawing from an aesthetic point of view.

I've a scaled shipyard drawing of the battlecruiser Hindenburg from the book German Battlecruisers of World War One, by Gary Staff to 4 Pixels = 1 feet Scale and traced a 30.5cm main gun turret, I've added the same gun drawn at standard scale for comparison. One thing to note, I wouldn't try to size up an SB drawing and then trace over it for this - for one thing the scale of some items won't be accurately shown since we exaggerate details.
