No helicopter? Or at least provisions for a landing spot? You bring up the Kirov as a comparable warship and the Kirov carried both helicopters and ASW weapons. Maybe with a possible rearrangement of the aft area you could fit in a hangar for at the very least 2 helicopters? Possibly place the sea d...

The hercules actually brings to mind an early iowa with the end chopped off behind the last turret and replaced with the end of the richelieu. Which looks pretty rad, and probably packs a punch, and can probably have lots of AA fitted later in the war

I'd think a cross between a tarawa and a kiev would be a useful headquarters ship. You've got guns (could be updraded) for any sort of bombardment, helicopter support, pretty large flight deck, might be able to launch small cargo planes. It might be a little bit more plausible to use a V-1 in this situation. Many of the other early submarine launched missiles had a similar airplane-ish style about them.

Gotcha gotcha. Probably could fill that area with massive amounts of AA though. Could be nice later as a carrier escort if it has a huge amount of AA power.

Now that is a warship! Question, why the raised guns in the aft turret? Just abit odd to see

Damn that is one cool looking ship, probably pretty powerful too with all the abls and the heavy guns and all.
