Can the drawing be a ship/vessel that already appears in the archive?

Either a redraw of a later/earlier version of a drawing that exists, or a complete redraw of one of the early gif drawings that still exist in the archive?

Amazing work Eswube.

Only query that came to mind was that all of the British / Commonwealth aircraft are all marked as 'Warhawk' when the British named them 'Kittyhawks'?

Nice to see you back Hugo.

17,000 tons would not be big for what is a mini-battlecruiser. I would back your cruiser against a Panzerschiff any day.

I would rate it as a CB (large cruiser) rather than CA (heavy cruiser).

Definitely different!!!

A well executed drawing of a novel design.

It looks like the turrets have just had dismountable structures built around them to provide the flight decks fore and aft?

From the bow: 20mm Oerlikon 2pd pom pom Bridge tubs - either .303 twin Lewis guns or .50 Browning singles Single 3" At times the British put machine gun mountings on the top of the torpedo tubes. There are a lot of pics of the machine gun and cannon mountings if you search under 'Airfix MTB'. I hope...

Unfortunately while the placing of boats may not be ascetically pleasing, the Americans did it for 15-20 years with their carriers and I would think one of those German Naval Attaches may have noticed this and passed it on to the Kriegsmarine. https://www.dropbox.com/s/m3za7zuqq5r7nw0/US-boats.PNG?d...

Reading about the early trials of German radar reminded me of a comparison that was done between Allied Radar advances and German advances. The one thing I remember is that the early British Radar was able to be easily upgraded part by part while the German radar needed to have virtually a complete ...

Good looking cruiser. The secondary AA looks a bit light with only four guns. Would it be possible to extend the aft superstructure enough to fit another twin 3.5", superfiring over X turret?

(The Germans used that configuration on the SP-1-3 scout cruisers)
