Kitbashing requires its own expertise. Matchings styles and colours is not easy. Camouflage is one of the worst things to come across. Actually the latest artists do such good work that it is a pleasure to turn out a visually great kitbashed drawing from their work. The oldest drawings are the worst...

That is a wonderfully executed drawing Tempest. I see there is a bit of hull work to go. Those bright red and purple lines do make a bit of a statement of their own. I might have to have a re-think on doing UK D Cl's and maybe a series on the Abdiel minelayers both of which I have quite a bit of inf...

J.E. MacDonell had to be one of the most prolific writers of his time - there were dozens of his ripping yarns for the Navy. He also did dozens more in what can be only described as 'Romance' novels. I remember Jackal with 'Dutchy' Holland in command. Supposedly an 'experimental' A-I with more speed...

Looks Ok, but: every time your 8x5" (4x2) turrets wish to fire across the flight deck you would have to suspend flight operations till the guns stop firing. Have a look at the Essex class and what they did to help with that problem. They kept the turrets around the superstructure, but added four/six...

What a battle it has been. The Prats from Prague (Freehosting.com) just did not want to let go. It took an order from Public Domain Registry to unlock my Domain Name from them. The transfer from my old host to my new one has finally completed, and after 7 hours of FTP uploading the site is finally b...

That FW-TA-283 reminds me of the 'racers' they use in several of the Star Wars episodes. Real life being imitated by the movies.

Part of the AU cruiser Europa was a horrible mangle of a drawing for my Westland Whirlwind II aircraft. I have finally got around to making an FD drawing of the aircraft and have updated the drawing in the CLA Europa post, and post the result below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/06hmc3s4n3x1kpw/Westland...

When I first started collecting SB drawings 7-8 years ago, some of the early drawings did not have the SB watermark in the right bottom corner. Having a quick look in the main archive none of the Italian cruisers look like they have the Shipbucket watermark. So unless the author knew those drawings ...
