RP1, you are expected to draw ?
Damn, you just beat me to it! I was about to ask the exact same thing! The UVX would be fantastic, and open for so many variations in load out and weapons fit.

Very beautiful design, not just he drawing, but the original ship as well. But that was the case with most of the ships, aircraft and vehicles used by Germany in WWII Very nice :) But I doubt if he was ever aboard much; as he seemed to be very uninterested in anything nautical. Still, several carefu...

I love this design, and was hoping someone would draw it to SB standards. Ypu cold even make a Military variant, as a Mobile Landing Platform.

A top view would be great as well btw. :)

@ace Would that be the UN aircraft carrier Asuka II or the Anti-UN submarine Auerstädt? I can't remember ever seen a sideview or another suitable elevation of them. Would be a hard job. that would be the asuka, as there is some data of that one...... I have images from the artbook.... one of those ...

How about just redesigning the liferaft containers? This is a new ship, opitmised for stealth, it stands to reason that, in order to keep adar signature low, the liferaft containers will be stealthy as well, at leas if hey ar positioned on the outsides of the ship. A 'simple' coat of radar absorbing...

Every USN carrier since the beginning of forever has had a (emergency) conn right forward, underneath the forward edge of the flight deck. For whatever that's worth. Oh, that's right. I've read that somewhere. I've never seen any photo's of that though (except for he three holes in the forward bow)...

I wonder if there's such a thing as a 'navigational' bridge up front. I never read anything conclusive as to what the window-like holes are. I always assumed they were part of the catapults, as there are two cats on the top deck, as well as one on every lower deck either side of the hangar.

Yes, wing design looks a bit like Saab Draken. Tailfins are from the A/F-X then I assume? Is it a carrier based fighter or land based? I think it's going to have a hard time getting of the ground with the wings that far back. Perhaps (retractable) canards could be added? Nice lifting body design tho...

Probably one of the best fighters in the world, the Sukhoi Su-27 (and higher) series. Commonly known as the Flanker family.
