I've been trying to find out what class the Russian destroyers Grosniy ("Грозный") and Braviy ("Бравый") were. (1905). According to navypedia Groznyy was part of the Boykiy class (maybe sometimes rated as a subclass), but is reported as captured by Japan. http://shipbucket.com/drawings/1353/file Th...

Grozniy was the lead ship of her class and Braviy was a Buinyi-class vessel. Hope that helps!
That's exactly what I was looking for! I really appreciate it!

I am trying to begin on actually drawing these ships, but I need some help. I've been trying to find out what class the Russian destroyers Grosniy ("Грозный") and Braviy ("Бравый") were. (1905). These ships managed to escape to Vladivostok in reality, and I wanted to draw one that would have survive...

Is it focused more on an independent Alaska or does it still have ties to Russia? It was not sold to US and proclaimed as autonomous Grand Duchy similar to Grand Duchy of Finland. In civil war it stay loyal to Tsar supporting "White" movement and eventually become the last stronghold after evacuati...

I'm still not ready to post it. Trying to tune it to be max realistic and sometimes I need to be pull from too much megalomania in to more realistic floor level. For now I have full ready years from 1725 to 1945.

That is some very similar setting I'm working on. Very, very similar. But larger in scale.
Great minds think alike I guess! I'd be interested on seeing your take on it, can you post a link?

Hello and welcome to my first AU. I created this after I came up with the idea of what would have happened had Russia not sold Alaska to the United States. In this timeline, Russia made a larger effort in colonizing Alaska early on, and gave the charter to more experianced business men, making the c...

Welcome to Shipbucket! First things first, the drawing doesn't look bad as such, though the small scale makes it hard to tell. As far as style goes, you'll want to outline your sonobuoys and, of course, switch to a standard SB template if you want to post this as a finished drawing. Made the Drone ...

Many modern Diesel Electric submarines that exist today or are build today have often some thing similar, build in to them. The old Norwegian-Swedish submarin project "Viking" was designed to carry remote controlled mini-submarine and deliver special forces, in a better way that on earlier submarin...
