I could probably move the MG up to the hangar roof or something. as for the Phalanx...maybe a platform aft of the mast? I tried putting one forward of the bridge, but to give it any real forward arc I would have blocked the view from the bridge.

Don't think in terms of hull size, think in terms of systems. Steel is cheap. Okay, so systems-wise: Littoral-compatable Sonar Close-Range ASW Weapons (Depth Charges, ASW Mortars, SV Torpedoes) Perhaps Long-Range ASW Weapons? (ASROC) Decoys reduced noise propulsion/systems That sound right?

So, for chasing something like a midget sub, something on the order of an ASW-equipped FAC or PC would be more appropriate? 40-60 meters long, rather than 90-100?

It is Google Maps. the islands are Borneo and Sulawesi (sp?). Added the Cities with MS Paint.

Some time later I plan to add the "Old Navy" ships: The TNS Victoria (BB-2), the WWII-Era Cruisers and Destroyers etc...and the Cold War fleet.

My big one is the 1906 HMS Dreadnought, and various designs for Tequilapoli. I was thinking of replacing the Butler class DE that someone else already did with the Hamilton Class Cutter, unless someone has already done that.

If my geography is right, IOT is between Australia and New Zealand? Might want to check, but in that part of the pacific an icebreaker might be needed from May-October
