Thanks Ragriz! Another update, (although I should maybe wait with the next few updates until Ace is done; I have a feeling you're up to something nice again) it is Atlantified now as the defense contract with Atlantia is closed. It now has acoustic countermeasures, hardkill countermeasures, laser ja...

the processing rooms won't fit in the mast, that is why the I-masts are twice as bulky as this unit :P also, even the I-mast has not all it's cabinets and cooling units in the mast itself. there is an large column going down just aft of the hollands CIC which connects the mast and the cabinet room....

I do want the exhaust to go to the rear, as this ship has the same exhaust type as the Visby. It indeed takes space but it has to. There is space enough for it though, as there is no towed sonar there or anything. Besides, the engine is below the helopad already; an uptake there would take about the...

The VLS can't be amidships; the hangar, flex deck and maintenence bay are adjoined, and since the latter two go under the bridge I need to make the ship significantly longer to put a VLS in between; it's not impossible, but it's not an elegant nor practical solution and leaves unused space behind. I...

wait! where are you planning to fit an hangar? even when just large enough for an lynx, the hangar would go into the bridge area. There is a hangar here. It indeed slightly recesses into the bridge area. (Before you say it, that CIWS does not penetrate the deck, and ammunition is stored behind it. ...

Aye, I took my time, but I'm back! is that an helideck, amidships? if it is, it seems an bad idea to have an heightened part just aft of it, and especially the antenna's. if it is not, it seems empty It is. The antenna's, well, I could not find another place for them, so I put them there and thought...

Quick rundown on its systems for anyone interested: The mast atop of the bridge is a MATRI-X Full Capability Integrated Mast. It contains a...

It just so happens that I was searching for the same. I found this on Photobucket though: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p145/helping_hand1990/Shipbucket/X-BowCarrier.png Also, DNS is doing this IRL... sort of. Well, it is an inverted bow, but appears slightly different than Ulstien's X-bow. htt...
