They're right; the barrels simply cannot elevate that low, nor would they ever have been in service.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good way to draw gun barrels with a lower degree of elevation so they look less out of place?

The Type 12 was the Whitby. My apologies, I should have said Type 12I, or the Leander class.

Replacements for the Queen of Sky class, these five ships (plus one additional for the RNZN) entered service beginning in the 2015 timeframe. Intended to operate 12 x Sea Gripen, 10 x Chinook ASW in normal operation.
