CAN-160 http://shipbucket.com/wiki/images/6/6c/CAN-160.png In the rebuilds after WW2, quite a few of the worlds nations built, bought or completed a new series of gun cruisers. These ships, designed from the start around the weapons and sensors of the post-war era, were extremely potent. Think abou...

Fantastic! I love it! I am curious about a few small things, though, and a few small remarks. - Why are the 2 funnels different in size, while they both have 2 tubes of the same size going trough them? - is the aft 3D radar capable of rotating in that spot? - The hangar opening seems higher then the...

panel lines, such as the lines of the doors, or on the boxes aft on the vehicle. I wasn't talking about the handrail.

Also, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the black outlines for doors and windows not required in FD scale? I know at least in shipbucket scale they are.

There seems to be a mismatch in style between the launcher box and the rest of the vehicle. The ground line is not normally shown on fd drawings IIRC, and should the windows and doors not be outlined in black? Btw, where the camo brown crosses an panel line (in your case the dark green ones), it is ...

as I said earlier, if your cruiser had a bulbous bow like that, you get more slamming, more wavemaking resistance and more friction resistance. My point is: there is a reason why you never see them on ships like those.

Neither of your 3 examples where cruiser/destroyer sized ships. Neither of the 3 have a bulb anywhere close to what you have drawn.

You told me all about your ships weapons, except for why you need 5 types on one ship. Your short stern will result in a lot of turbulence, and your description of how the ship should pass trough waves would fit a sharp bow better then a bulbous one. I also do not recall any destroyer/light cruiser ...

Well, they would certainly not order the ship as drawn now, as there are quite some issues with it :P First of all, I count 5 different gun calibers, each requiring separate fire control, spotting, training and logistics. The fire control would be hard pressed to do it's job, as most antenna's are b...
