This is nothing short of spectacular! What an incredible effort. Well done, Ian. I can see the painstaking research that has gone into this... I love the plan view, especially how you have included the yielding elements in the arresting set up. Also, the detailing of the catwalks catches the eye. Wh...

Now that you've changed the colours, there's a lot of tidying up to do, railings, anchor etc... I'm still not sold on the prop shafts. Here's the builders plans of Midway in '87. I find it hard to believe they would have changed the prop set up in the SCB upgrades, but who knows? What source do you ...

Wow! I missed this one. Marvellous work. It looks great. A couple of points 1) needs some shading under the stern. 2) not sure you need a black line representing the knuckle under the bow. 3) no line needed on the skeg. That line would be obscured. 4) maybe state the camo used (measure21?) 5) the da...

Only thing that bugs me are the dark blue windows -- as a rule, most of us have decided on a new lighter shade of blue for windows/glazing.
Ah yes, I had seen that new drawings were using a different color for windows but wasn't sure what the "rule" was. I will change it and update.

Thanks for all the feedback and I've made some changes. I've also added the ensign and the jack. The SB2U on the aft flight represents the photo of WASP at anchor in President Roads, Boston, June 1940. I've included a couple of shots below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/26y92nzsq7zw52y/CV-7%20Wasp%20194...

After many years, I've finally completed the WASP 1940 drawing. Thanks to John Sheridan for giving a ton of commission photos from the National Archives. WASP was launched on 4th April, 1939 and Air Group 7 was established on July 1st later that year. Commanding officer was Capt. John W. "Black Jack...
