Not bad, makes a change to see some older AU vessels. Design wise this design is pretty good, worth noting that really the casemates would be flush with the sides of the hull. The aft and fore casemates would be angled inwards to give ahead and astern fire, take a look at some aerial pcitures of dre...

I love this thread. It makes me laugh soooo much. Really, do 90% of all Nationstates players not know what a warship actually looks like? How many times have they opened up a book (sigh, or even looked at Wikipedia) and seen a ship that looks like that! Actually the carrier isn't that bad overall (e...

Erm, I take it this is a bow propeller and rudder and not just a shipbucket stern turned the other way with the bows cut off? No, can't see this working, propellers are designed for maximum effiency to push the water behind them to create thrust. Here the hull behind the propeller blocks most of thi...

Having looked with the magnifying glass in Paint I see very little wrong at all now. The forward support struts on the ends of the mid deck might be better as a three pixel line black-grey-black rather than the single grey line you have at the moment. Other than that it looks pretty awesome. We eage...

Probably the first paddle steamer in shipbucket too.
Very impressive for a newbie post, very impressive indeed.

Yeah, but you have to realsitically say that the MOD has been spending a packet on the Falklands all these years since 1982 which probably by now adds up to a chunk of the spending all because of political bluster and the promise of riches beyond your wildest dreams via oil always just seemingly aro...

Agreed, A very interesting set of drawings, and two of them new to my knowledge. One wonders what else Golly has up his sleeve ready for us to see? All the aircraft complements can only be speculative, there just wasn't the kind of naval aircraft development as elsewhere during this period. It's not...

No,
There are few British missiles of note and all can be found on the missiles sheets. Saying that the launchers do need work and this will be done at some point.
