That's the whole reason we have parts sheets. There have been several aircraft sheets during the life of Shipbucket and most of them reside in the old forum site. Really the pace of drawing outstrips any parts sheet we can make since its out of date before its even posted! Also the planebucket threa...

Great work, a very impressive drawing.

The forward booms should be three-pixels wide (black-brown-black) like the boom under the forward side turret.

Rolling three AUs into one does indeed create THE AU thread of all time.

Welcome. A very interesting idea, the book is a great read as is the follow-on book as well, and one that I've often thought about. The style points raised by Lazer and Novice need looking at and cover everything I can think of. I would ditch the Type 1022 radar though as the ship doesn't really nee...

Yes I was browisng this site the other day and was surprised to find the whole catalogue of Shipbucket reproduced. It's nice to know we are becoming a trusted source but is there really any need for him to duplicate our archive? He must have read the fair-use agreement as its hard to miss on the arc...

All this needs to be taken with big pinches of salt. Lack of seatime, poor training, poor leadership, spares issues, qaulity control issues etc make all these grand plans seem rather hollow. Much like the Soviet Navy in the 1970s many of the ships looked impressive but most sat in haroubr most of th...

My problem with the waterline was the two lines carried over the ends of the ship external to the hull. That is a no no which we've never done in the past. I've no problems with where the waterline is as long as its inside the hull.

Better but needs another 20 foot on her I think. Raised freeboard would be good too.
Generally though the layout is better.

It's way too cramped. Ditch the aft gun, ditch the hull hangar (wastes space, adds hull weight and a complex lift), add about 100 pixels of lengh admidships, space the Type 909 properly, the double-sided funnels wastes beam space and the heat plume will be right under your radars, not so good. The sh...
