The long cat looks far longer than any I have seen on a real carrier. It's doesn't need to be that big. Take a look of some of Golly's Novgorod carrier top-views for some decent length catapults.

Looks fairly ok to spec wise. The RBS-08T sounds very interesting. I would go with Sea Dart, I thought some of your destroyers already had Sea Dart fitted anyway. Perhaps for AU purposes the GWS.30 Sea Dart with all those improvements might actually have been funded instead of cancelled. I assume th...

Interesting... fairly narrow but I gues when you add the lifts and some overhangs there will be a pretty wide deck.
I think you have too many sonar systems though, carriers don't tend to have many sonars except for torpedo-warning and long-range search in some cases.

Time to revise the list; As ever worklists tend to be long and you never quite seem to reach the end before you've added another dozen! Leander Class frigates (all RN variants): Well I've done three so far, just the Sea Wolf conversions and HMS Penelope to complete Fearless Class LSD: Done, may add ...

Very nice work, now we'll have Hovercraftbucket!
I love the shading on the skirt. Might like to remove the green guidelines from the side though...

Thanks guys, I may do Fearless as refitted with Phalanx etc later on. I've been experimenting etc with AU work and now I think I've found the right colours and shading style after several years of drawing. I keep things simple with the shading, especially the underwater hull, I've never seen the nee...

Yeah, the first ships we drew in the old days look like the kind of stuff you find in WIP drawings these days. Still things have gotten better as everyone tries to outdo the rest. Our early flags were quite crap but we still seem to be using the same White Ensigns (or at least I am!). The key thing ...

Yeah it was the pixellation I was referring too, not the size. The bigger the better!
I like the overall style, its easy to be sober sometimes but this is art and part of SB is knowing when to be an artist and when to be the uber-geek pixel counter!

This has been a stop-start project and its been a real pain at times to get right but now I'm happy with it. Fearless is surprisingly short and it very top heavy looking with a massive structure and IMHO a overly tall mainmast. Still she has a functional beauty all of its own. So, without further ad...

Yeah the Government is great at preaching economy and saving money and then proceeds to waste millions/ billions on half-finished work or doing it and then throwing it away. TSR.2 and Nimrod MRA.4 are perhaps more famous examples but time and time again it seems to be the case. Maybe Cumberland shou...
