May I ask what comes next? May I suggest the GK10 maybe? :) http://oi57.tinypic.com/287ht7t.jpg I've put together the drawings in one master picture so we can have a feel about the progress of the designs. Very interesting. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i179/Battleshipboy/biggermanwwicred_zpssec...

"I have never seen a warship with offset turrets like this, but perhaps she works." - think about the K class german cruisers (Köln, Königsberg etc.). They have exactly this layout though with cruiser level turrets and much less protrusion into the hull.

The upper deck mounts were HA capable but lacked protection while the casemates gun had good armor and had sufficient angle of elevation to deal with surface targets.

Amaziong job Sir! Very nice detailing of the framing/plating on the bow! If I may suggest then do either GK10 or the GK5041.

Allow me some comments here. I have the linked book and in defense of it Mr Perkins did his drawings real time, meaning he had a pen/pencil and a paper to sketch the ships as he saw them passing. Certainly GD's drawings are top notch and I would love to see them in print (many of the drawings here) ...

Great news Garlic, I'll wait of course!!! Jackie: I'd be happy to have the capital ships ready to go. Actually other than the KGVs and Iron Dukes only the New Zealand and the Hercules are missing.

Dear Tempest, awesome drawing again, keep it up! May I ask if you have any more info or meybe even sketches on these (especially the quad turret ones). Are you going to draw them if so? "Before the war, sketches for potential battleships for the 1916 programme had been drawn up, with ten or even twe...
