Nice work. I think the shade of the bow overhang and stern are too dark, but otherwise looking great.

Looking good!

Any reason you are not using the outboard-facing 40mm guns, Mark 37 directors, etc?

The radar atop the conning tower is the Mark 3 "FC" -- this was the associated fire control radar for the Mark 40 GFCS inside the top level of the conning tower (intended as a backup if the two Mark 38 directors were somehow destroyed). Brilliant work James, but the same question to you old boy if I may. Will you be drawing a deck plan for your Project 1808.1 Volga please? Many thanks old man, Andy. Please note: drawing plan views of these ships is not a requirement for the challenge (or even for SB drawing in general). If the art...

Absolutely - I was just kind of poking fun at the whole thing, as we asked for help from the community multiple times during the SB upload (but most told me they were "too busy" -- aka 61 tabs of anime open in chrome ;) )

We can easily restrict who can upload. Just let me know who should have access.

Dude, do some research... a good reference for the dreadnoughts and the fire control equipment aboard is "Naval Firepower: Battleship Guns and Gunnery in the Dreadnought Era" by Friedman. You can get it on Amazon in kindle version for $9. It probably answers the questions about what director is in t...
