Good work all!

If we continue to see vote rigging, we will find a different way to score these challenges -- most likely a closed vote among a group of 20-30 trusted community members, requiring email collection to enter.

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed... I still haven't been able to setup my desktop computer so haven't had a chance to review photos...

I'll get a corrected version up as soon as I get some time.

Thanks all. This was probably one of the most time-consuming projects I've undertaken... with massive delays caused by two week-long trips and moving cities... This is nothing short of spectacular! What an incredible effort. Well done, Ian. I can see the painstaking research that has gone into this....

http://shipbucket.com/drawings/8065/file This is PRINCETON (CVL-23) in October 1944 as lost at the Battle of Leyte Gulf. She is camouflaged in Measure 32/7A. This scheme used a pattern of Light Gray (5-L), Ocean Gray (5-O), Dull Black (BK), and White (5-U) on the vertical surfaces, with Deck Blue (...

Paul - I agree w Charybdis on the hull plans. The drawings you got from DavidP are not actual USN plans but rather model builder plans issued in the 1950s and 1960s (they are not very detailed). The plans Charybdis linked look like booklets of general plans, which were drawn by the building yards an...

But if this is truly Measure 21, the ship needs to be camouflaged in the dark grey of Navy Grey #7... right now it looks like haze grey which is not correct. BTW, noticing some other small errors: - shading on 5" gun mounts needs to be reversed on mounts facing aft - are you sure there should be a s...

I agree w all of Charybdis' points above. The template title should read: USA, Midway Class USS Midway CVB-41 (September 1946) - Measure 21 Shipcamouflage.com lists CVB-41 having "Measure 21" camouflage in 1945. By the time the ship would be launched, the US yards were using the late-war paint color...

Nice work. My only complaint is the use of the old aircraft drawings which look strangely distorted when "landed"... I presume this is because whoever made them just tried to rotate my old "flying" versions and didn't draw the landed version from scratch (the only way to properly draw pixel aircraft...

For the purposes of a user perusing the archive, it makes more sense to have British operated massive cruise ships placed under Britain folder moreso than Bahamas folder.
