Nitpicking the 5.56mm NATO designation is probably the most minor of all the "issues" with the "M16A1" above ;) I can see several obvious issues right off the bat -- pistol grip shape, magazine fencing, forward assist shape, barrel weight, flash hider, stock shape... I drew the original "M16A2" in 2...

I like the concept a lot but you need to add individual credits next to each ship (just the author names would be fine). There is no way to identify who drew what submarine currently ;)

Good stuff. Armor is the one area I've never cared to research in much detail - perhaps because it doesn't stand out much on drawings. ;)

It would be interesting to see if light units incorporated the same protection, vs. just the very large ships like Midway and the BBs.
