For the most part, these seem quite well executed. But I think you ought to shade the (not sure the right term) 'structural lines' or 'crease lines' according to the local camouflage. Look, for instance, at the dark gray lines on the forward 5/38 mounts when colored in dark blue (1941-1943). Really...

After the Pearl Harbor attack, Cassin and Downes colapsed at the dry dock and sufered extensive fire damage. They were recovered and were completely rebuilt under a new design:

Nice work. One thing I'd change would be the size of the numbers on the bow. Once the U.S. entered the war they were greatly reduced in size so as to detract from identification by the enemy. (See some of Colo's DD and CL drawings.) Numbers reduced as you suggest. Thank you for the feedback. Cheers...
