Hey all, Does anyone have the source for this CH-47? https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/6304d3c6-dac0-4fc1-9305-b41b038978bc/dd67lxd-9f1a678e-d975-4625-ad3e-73e0b870b25d.png?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQy...

It is a magnificent desk! Full-sized solid wood American door (78x30", about 200x76cm) on top of a motorized stand-up mechanism. After many coats of polyurethane, it's seen no discernible wear and tear after almost a decade. Last year I made an office chair "mat" out of a 1/2" thick sheet of plywood...

I've been quiet (work has been crazy), but I do intend to submit an entry to this challenge. I realized my desk is starting to look pretty silly, and I thought I'd share.

That's fifteen pounds of Friedman right there.

An interesting design exploration. You could certainly reduce the size of the funnel; BB-49 had only 1/3 the shaft horsepower of Lexington and Saratoga, and presumably would only need about 1/3 of the uptake area.

Sort of a dreary smudge on my monitor at 1:1 scale, but zoomed to 400% the attention to detail is excellent. I particularly like the effect with how you've rendered the deck.

As for 1:1, there's not much you can do about that. Black is black :D

Would German liferafts go unpainted at the time? I find them a little jarring. Also, what's going on at the forefoot?

Aside from that, these are nice drawings! It's not hard to imagine why a 155mm secondary would be required :)

I think Gollevainen used shading like that once upon a time. I don't think it's common in modern (say, post-2015) use.

Aside from shading questions, a nice drawing!

Climbing to that upper spotting location looks like quite an adventure. I'll let the next guy do it.

A very nicely executed drawing. The forest of radio antennas is quite something. I might rotate one of the long-range HF aerials to show its structure, but that's artist's preference.

What on earth is going on at the bow?
