Looks better now! Re: bridge and Type 909, well I guess its interchangable, certainly if you swapped them this Tromp design would be much closer to Type 82 in terms of layout. I'm thinking the only reason to switch them would be to keep the 909 out of the 988/ SPS-101 radar lobes? British ships neve...

It's an odd design I'll admit. It was a private-venture and Airspeed's first fighter design. I'm not sure as to the date of the design, its not mentioned in the Putnam entry I used (Airspeed Aircraft Since 1931) but it was sometime between the the AS.6, 7 and 8 of 1934 and the AS.10 Oxford of 1937. ...

Looks good Ace, a very good artists impression, probably close enough to be realistic to the real intention. The parallels to the Type 82 are clear, if only some kind of dual-nation design had been possible then I think both navies would have benefited. As it was the RN got a single experimental shi...

In that case it will need modifying. I think you and Ace know what you're doing so I won't interfere, whatever you guys can come up with will be good. Ace asked me to draw a single-arm Sea Dart a few posts back. There were a couple of destroyer/ frigate designs using a Vickers-designed single-arm la...

Another great design, a kind of more general purpose Type 22. I like it!

My thoughts. I'm inclined to trust Ace's orginal Mod 0 plan, rather than the BAE computer rendering for the 4.5in barrel, Miho's new one looks too long to me. I don't think it supports the photo evidence. The TMF is obviously a different beast, as I had expected. From the Navweaps page its clear the...

Thanks BH. You've given most of these to me before to get me going (plus other very useful photos). I'm working from the large grey plan (top pic) but is seriously messed up somewhere just aft of the island but I can't seem to get to root of the problem (is the island out or the vents etc. etc.), so...
