Sleek looking ships, but in addition to what Hood said (That superstructure really needs at least one more level), those long range search radars really need a more substantial mast to stand on, because what you have now looks like it will snap right in half with a bit of wind.

(snap) Nicely done. Great details. Really like your sense of humor. "Faroffistan". Reminds me of the NATO battlefield I created - "UnterOberDorf", which is close to "Dorf". I assume Faroffistan is just West of Mongolia? Thanks! Despite the suffix '-stan', Faroffistan isn't meant to be a Central Asi...

Hi all @TallBox: The one you posted is still floating around in the WWW, but it was actually the TKMS proposal that was dropped at an early stage. What I drew is Damen's first published concept for their winning design. BTW I've no idea how GNY's proposal looked (if they had one themselves), or if ...

Alternative yacht idea, much more freedom: This is the Christina O, which once belonged to Aristotle Onassis. She's one of THE classic motor yachts. https://www.sea-seacharters.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/CHRISTINA-O-1.jpg She also served in WWII as HMCS Stormont, a River class frigate. http://ww...

How about something radically different, yet still with that shipbucket swagger? Ahem. "Greetings designer, and welcome to the yacht design studio of Schipp and Bucket (It's pronounced "Bouquet")! Our client for today has given us the following brief: To design a monohull motor yacht for his private...
