Well, it really depends on what elements he wants from each design. I could easily see a Tarawa/Kuznetsov combo working just fine, so long as we're just talking style. FOr instance an Tarawa hull with a Kuznetsov style island and ski-jump would look neat. However you won't just be able to copy past...

If he'll go for no bow hatch, would it work? Also, at first he wanted a ski jump, but, thank God, I talked him out of it. That's one less fucking weird ass feature on this bastard.
So, I'm an active member of the NationStates community, and mentioned that I was starting to dabble in the shipbucket-style of drawing. This led to one person asking me to draw a ship. He wants a ship based on a mix of the Wasp-class and Kuznetsov, but in the flattop style of WWII Japanese carriers....
