Outstanding work with excellent drawings and backstories! I can't wait to see more of this Navy filled out. This is one of the best AUs at the moment.

Indeed, an interesting what-if and plausible, but I think a top-view might help to fit everything in because the 105mm mounts and the HA rangefinders aft look a little crammed in and I'm not sure there's that much deckspace.

Hi, Has anyone got any good quality plans or line drawings of the British LCM (7) developed by Thornycroft during WW2 and the post-war LCM (9) designed for the Fearless Class LPDs? I need at least either of these to complete my current project. I've got some good photo refs and a plan of the LCM (3)...

Great work as ever BH! This is going to be a cracking series.

I do observe some grey lines rather than black on the island of the Rapania though, which I assume is a layer/re-colouring error.

Great work on the Dassaults! Hope to see the nightfighters at some point too, I have some published data from the 'Complete Book of Fighters' which might help if you want it.

Great collection of Hunters! Nice to see the BN Islander (nearly 50 years old now) and the MiG-21 Bison is great too.
(Darth must have posted the Islander before at some point because I already have a copy on my hard drive! ;) )

Tempus, maybe this will whet your appetite until DG Alpha gets around to redrawing this version I drew several years ago.

The initial press release. The order does not yet seem to be official and the near the end of the article the fact that the decision is pending the next defence review is not encouraging. The whole tone suggests it was simply cheaper to pay for three ships rather than the subsidy to keep empty yards...
