Ooh, now this looks excellent! Normally when I see own design ships there's always something that looks a bit off to me (even when I try to draw it myself), but this really does everything beautifully. It is worthy of applause.

As KHT noted, Mikasa has been drawn, but not the Fuji or Shikishima classes (at least that I've seen). Nor have I seen any of the eight great armoured cruis...
I don't entirely know why - perhaps it's my desire to cheer for the underdog and the ugly duckling - but I do think she's got a certain prettiness about her...
Colo - looks like you've already got a start, but I might also suggest having a look at what the French used for the Dinassaut troops in Indochina during the 1940s and 1950s.
