I'm quite sure I've got the right dimensions, but I'll check :P Thank you for the arrows! I couldn't figure out earlier what you ment. About the rear gate it had to be seen behind the hull, when you look direct at starboard! I'm glad that you too can see the landing ramp on the LCVP's are wrong. But...
Perhaps I'm very stubborn and persistent, but I've got 106 photos (in different quality) of both HMS Albion and HMS Bulwark from different angles. There are photos which shows both the ships in different configurations. That are the material I've studied plus the actual facts on the Albion Class whi...
I am not really happy with the paintjob you put on the LCVP. if you look at pictures, you can see that the colour of the masts of the albion is darker then the 'black' on the lcvp. on your drawing it is the opposite. also, the Camo scheme is wrong, and the hull is coloured wrong: the lines I put on...
It is looking very good :) , but some things you'll still need to change. You are showing too much shade under overhangs three or four pixels is excessive - please check the guidelines. No need to 'step' the waterline, it should be straight. The 'lantern' on the mainmast seems to be glowing? That i...
Some times it's hard to recognise some details if you look at a picture that seem to be viewed 100% sideways. The photo above isn't
I've attached three photos in various angles to emphasize the details about the rear end
It's a very good photo of HMS Bulwark, but it show it from the port side (inverted) where the details are different from starboard side. I'll check if the rear gap looks alike on starboard. If, I'll correct it But all in all, I think my drawing is fair to the starboard side
Now I have made several changes of details, I have added a lot of new details and change my LCVP Mk. 5. The latter I'm unhappy with, but it seems that the concept of LCVP's should have a certain look here in Shipbucket :? Never mind! Though the proportions aren't right, so I have to change the davit...
couldn't you have send that earlier! I had to guess for all sizes and so on.... but I see that my version looks quite like it, so no rebuild needed.....
KW should fix it all now
The problem, as I see it, is that all in this discussion now focus on this particular photo (above). I haven't used this photo to made the most of my draft of HMS Bulwark! The only reason this photo is good for the drawing purpose is, that is possible to get a look into the gaps at the superstructur...
