Love these drawings attention to detail is brilliant .... Can anyone explain why the USN used possibly the most visible colours orange and yellow on its carrier decks, I know this is 1940 so before there entry into the war but seems an odd choice ..... And how long this lasted....

its something I was planning on writing into a future AU, after WW2 the empire didn't recede and Britain retained a massive navy on par with the rising USN and USSR....

Hood : any chance of some information on the super sonic sea cat, wiki only skins the surface, I'd be interested in range, traking etc.....

Any chance of seeing batch 2, would the Falklands still happen and would they ship CIWS ?
