Someone should correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't a boat that big need a second crane, or a dual winch crane, to actually move it? Wait a second, ships actually have a camouflage theme?
I think I asked myself that when I did it and told myself it's so they're easier for the crew to find in the smoke and smog of battle, and so they stand out better against the waves for rescue vessels to find them.

Would it help if I removed the center funnel and the area around it? Shrinking the length of the ship? And I could redo the bow again so it was swept differently.

Just to make sure, are you talking the whole ship? Or just the hull area? Everything above the hull can easily be changed if that's the problem.

Ah, well like I said, I tried to use it mostly for the fine details, like the flag poles and rivets. Your Superior was still my main base for shading. I just love your work lol.

Thanks, in what way though? I'm having a very hard time not putting 40's and 50's things into this just because of how much those are ingrained in my thinking. I took a lot of my inspiration from the HMS Revenge (1916), with some of my detailing inspiration from the Haram Lord Marine' (1950ish?) but...

Well, I did want the gallery in the first place. Are they really badly detrimental to the ship? Or was that just one man's opinion that they are?
