Jan, your comment is valid and fair enough! The Baltimores, built largely as a war-time expediency, based on the Wichita but greatly expanded, due to the lapse of any international treaty limits, and with a fair degree of war-time experience already accumulated, both own and British, did have a gener...

Takk så meget, kære Henrik! Det var rart av deg! As I've mentioned somewhere in this thread, not so much factual topweight, since the Baltimores were built with a rather healthy margin of displacement, and, mind you, a lot of WW2 fighting gear has been removed, including three heavy and armored gun ...

Revisited the Missoula -class Terrier-armed CG:s and cleaned her up, adding the same hull as the other Baltimores that I've worked on lately - plus renamed her the USS Bremerton (ex-CA-130 ) to acquire a more realistic feel. Anyway, no biggie, just wanted to finish this one off too: https://dl.dropb...

Rodondo, lovely rendition of a brave lil' ship, but I doubt she'd fly both the merchant ensign AND Reichkriegsflagge; certainly not the way you've illustrated it. A slip of mind? (I understand, since you can get soooo immersed in other details that you simply don't notice!) ;) :D

No erik, I do not, unfortunately. Don't even know its correct name.

BTW, I've re-situated the fore quadripode mast, moving it forward, clear of the forward funnel. I think it will create a more pleasing appearance and realign the signal ratlines better with USN established practice.

Changed the cone of the SatCom to look less like the OE-82C....maybe that'll do...

This effort is commendable, and I support it wholeheartedly! Shipbucket, indeed, has become a brand name, and I am proud of having been part of that development, and will definitely contribute!

Thank you for all your kind compliments! erik_t: You are a keen observer, but you're wrong, however. It's not the OE-82C, but rather an unknown SatCom installation, which also can be seen on several contemporary cruisers, such as the Little Rock. It looks very much like the later OE-82C, but is of a...

Both drawings updated, also with proper scuppers - and the egregious missing credit part. (Which was NOT by design, but rather by dumb lack of oversight and immersion into details other than that. If I inadvertently offended anyone, I apologize. Now, please focus on the ships, if you may...) As for ...

Drawing subsequently updated, adding a 1970 version (post-dating the previous one to the year 1963; a few years after her commissioning) erik_t: yes, while not explicitly mentioned in the sources, I'm sure that the original hangar would have been retained; albeit slightly modified, since the sliding...
