Given the tendency of Khrushchev era admirals to scrap the artillery ships, I am in general agreement with you. Even the near-complete 68-bis project cruiser No627 ("Sherbakov") were scrapped. But I would like to believe that the battleship would not be scrapped (may be used as a training ship) IMH...
