And we're back with two more versions of the ship, the first of which is her in her initial configuration. http://i.imgur.com/JisVkVX.png Here we have the ship as seen in April 1930, armed with 12x 10.5 Cm high angle guns in four triple deck mounts, with light AA consisting of 12x 12.7mm heavy AA MG...

The icing on the cake would be adding a third screw for a perfect German-feel. Now that I tink of, this cruiser is an exclusive anti-aircraft ship? It might be interesting to remove the forward (if noth both) set of torpedo tubes as to fit more light AA mounts. Or even adding a second smaller funne...

Very nice 8-) One point I think you do need the flash shields, If you look at the 105mm twins they are not enclosed http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNGER_41-65_skc33.htm and you need space for the gunners to move behind them ? I think a pre AA conversion would be cool with single 150mm guns ? Say s...

I've taken all the input here into consideration and made modifications to the drawing, and given proper crediting and naming on the drawing. Here's the second pass at her ladies and gents. http://i.imgur.com/TS9s9i0.png The bridge has been completely overhauled and stylized after Leipzig, and AA ra...

A minor point to think about. You have fitted 4 twin 4.1" turrets, why do you still need the flash shields? That is extra topweight being carried for nothing.
Forgive my ignorance but what are the flash shields and what do they do?

...ok. so where are the original credits then??? Did you willfully cut them off, and, quite frankly, why did you do that in the first place? I guess I didn't think that properly notation was required for unnofficial works. I'll update it with credits in the next version! A serious bite against airc...

Hey folks, just gonna post this "Germanized" IJN Yuubari that I drew. Well not quite, it's a cruiser class I designed for a roleplay called the MNV Righteous Endeavour , a light anti-aircraft cruiser meant to hail from the late 1920s/early 1930s that serves well into the 40s. Since the dimensions tu...

Howdy Scotia23, Not a bad start, there is a few things that look a bit odd between the drawing and the Springsharp report. You have a 1926 ship with 1899 model guns. Normally the guns are made to match the ship. The 6.8" guns are a bit small for the size of the German 8" twin turrets which always l...

With respect, the springsharp report appears to have been redacted. May I ask if there's any particular reason why?
I put it in spoilers, which in most forums puts it into a collapsible box, but here it just puts black over the text until you click it. I can edit it real quick.

Hello everyone here, I've been lurking on this site for quite a while and practicing making my own ship bucket designs, starting with copy pasting elements from existing drawings and slowly adding more and more of own elements as time went on. Most of the ships I draw for are not only fictional but ...
