The Saro P.187 was a beast! Two Gyron reheated jets (35,000lbs in afterburner each) and four Spectre rockets (10,000lbs each) for M2.5 but 3.0 would have been possible. It's worth adding that the nose actually lowered vertically for better visibility on landing, it was not a droop-nose like Concorde...

The 3in are too far aft, there isn't enough room in the hull below for the size of magazine required by the auto 3in guns. They could empty their magazines very qucikly. No it's not crap. It's pretty good. Choosing a good source drawing is the hard part, especially when decent 3-views are hard to find for some aircraft.
