I'm currently working on a refit version of the HMS Göta Lejon. I would like some advice(or some examples of already drawn)on FC, as my expertese(word-butchering?)in the area is practically nil. The refit takes place in 1937-1938, the biggest change being swapping the 6" secondary artillery to a 4.7...
I really like your drawings Psilander! My favourites are probably those of the beginning of last century, those destroyers are really cool! I don't really know what to comment in SB-perspective(I'm a typical amateur), but I do like the overall design. Would it be possible to get a bit background inf...
The main difference is that armored cruisers have an armor belt along the sides to protect the internals. Protected cruisers don't have an armor belt, but have an armored deck protecting their insides. So, does that mean adding an armour belt will suffice, or should I do something more to make it m...
Methinks it looks more like a protected cruiser. Aside from what Hood has mentioned, I don't think that anchor is big enough enough for her. If you need them, here's a few WhyMe drew: http://shipbucket.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=491&p=33421&hilit=anchors#p33421 First, what is the differance be...
So I bring you my second SB-style drawing! This time, it's a small armoured cruiser armed with two 8.27"/210mm guns in the main artillery, along with a secondary of four 6"/152mm guns(I credited these to Bezobrazov, as it was he who provided it for someone in the latters AU, and I don't know who els...
Here's the final version, only differance from the last one being I've corrected the order of the drawers' names.
Might seem a bit nitpicky, but what the h*ck.
So, I've remade the prop shafts and recoulored the armour belt. I've added the ship badge as well. Along with using a new template and fixing the text.
I give you..... V. 1.8!
