Since Golly and I are both Scandinavians we share an innate love for our countries' navies. I was pleased to se that he had made the Tre Kronor-class bot as originally built and as modernized. However, I've been frantically waiting for an update of the modernized version, so here's my go at it, with...

There's no British/Canadian/Australian/Kiwi tradition to have the name on the stem. The color of the letters seems ok, but should most properly be moved closer to the fantail; in this case it might be entirely moved to this position, which might preclude it from showing. In fact the only man-o'-war ...

Oh, boy...I wish someone had made a spell check before posting the map. It's "Independent" not "independant". Likewise, it's not "Chili" as in the food dish, but Chile.

Norway has, to my knowledge opted out of the Sylver-Aster system, choosing instead the Aegis. I see no point in recommending a system which the government has turned down. Perhaps in the future advice should be offered with knowledge to support it.

Erik, all this sounds very reasonable to me. And an actual design that looks like a ship, in this case something of a wild weazel... very nice, and I agree with Tim - damn sexy too!

One eenie teeny wee detail: since the Arizona is purported to be depicted on exactly that infamous Sunday morning, dec. 7, 1941 and since the ComBatDiv1 Rear-Admiral isaac C. Kidd was actually present, onboard his flagship, USS Arizona, his command pennant should properly be flown at the topmast, th...
