If this is not the most accurate drawing in the whole of 'Shipbucket', it certainly is the most congratulatory attempt at it.

Somewhat amazingly enough, this beauty almost escaped me. Must have been a mind cramp or something, but your HAe Fury ought to have been the fighter-bomber I should have chosen for my recent 'Light Attack Carrier' air group. The alterations include a more rounded nose, slightly less sweep on the lea...

Very attractive looking designs indeed. Rowdy, as you say, "just for the fun of it" :), I've tinkered with your RCN FF. I'm not sure the helo deck is large enough so I added 15 pxels to the length, given her a walk-around hangar, a larger pop gun and re-arranged the Harpoons for a more imposing look...

Guys, thank you so much for your kind remarks. If you think I've created a nice looking ship, then I've achieved my main objective. :) After discovering, via 'shippy2013', that Hornets require a 75 meter catapult I decided to change the airgroup. Such a cat could only fit in the waist of the ship an...

Rowdy,

I'm glad you at least like the look of her. One thing though, whenever I design or redesign warships I always use Monopoly money. ;) :)

shippy2013, Thanks for that. Your info is very much appreciated. It seems the best I can get is a 55 meter cat and an attack aircraft other than the Hornet is in order. See here: http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=5347&p=122005#p122005 Bombhead, Thank you too, my friend. You'd mak...

Rowdy,

Thanks for the Exocet version - she's a beauty.

Will this work for your helicopter destroyer, or is the helo deck too close (16 feet) to the waterline? I've lowered it to the level of the forecastle deck and rebuilt the stern.

Another question: Can an aircraft carrier of about 740 ft (HMS Hermes size) in length operate A/F-18 Hornets?

I'm not so keen on Norseman but Condingup looks absolutely delicious. I dare say there'll be an Exocet version soon??? Well done Rowdy.
