Today, June 9th, the keel was laid at the Yantar yard in Kaliningrad for the second project 22010 research ship, to be named ALMAZ and to be completed in 2019. Great stuff! I understand the Russians wanted to order more ice breaking vessels at Nordic Yards, but because of the economic sanctions, the deals could not be finalised. Are you also planning to draw the MPSV07 series?

I can only add my compliments to DP for his work on the Typhoon. Soviet navy ships really stirred my imagination as a kid in the late 80s and the Typhoon was the most fascinating of them all. Excellent work!

Yes exactly Mike, and it looks very distinctive. I was thinking of a GOWIND-type design or Germany's F125 frigate or a Dutch SIGMA-design, but I have not found a match so far. I know I've seen it before. One of these days I will remember it!
