http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/2167/ssn3.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us As promised, here are the SSNs, which replace my previous carrier. The first three were launched in the mid 1990s, with the second 3 Improved Ondines in the mid 2000s, the original Ondine Klasse were eventually upgraded to...

really good, better then I could have done it. noted one little thing though: the harpoon exhausts look to be fitted too high right now. Nah, they're at exactly same height as on the "real" ships: It's just that you don't have that gantry next to em, AND the railing has been lowered, so you can see...

looks nice! might be something to build an attack submarine for utopia around..... Weapons loadout is the same as that of a standard Astute: 36 slots for either torpedoes, Harpoon, or cruise missiles. Of course each slot will hold three mines. Mind you, that's the same number of weapons as a Virgin...

It looks like a US Mk-45 Mod-0 to Mod 3, which use a similar style of housing to the Mk-71. Yea, but still the wish was to have a duel 12cm, even she shows the USN one. The MK-45 might have been looked at when it became obvous that retaining the old Bofors cannon was not really feasible, and before...

Nice work WhyMe. Shipbucket still concentrates mostly around warships, the more civilian ships the better. Even if they are UGLY like these... I mean damn, that X-bow just really does not do it for me.

I do not have a good linedrawing of Norge... Oh come on. You've got a perfectly good looking picture right here in the thread, all you have to do is look up Norge's size. For crying out loud, kids nowadays. Why, back in my day, we didn't have a bazillion linedrawings on the internet! We had crappy ...

looks like it's better you take over this project..... most of the things I changed appear to be wrong..... I would like to see the APAR faces one pixel smaller though, because right now it looks even uglier then my one.... Hm, If you think so. You were just working from a single low-res image, is ...

What if the Astute SSN had a more regular shaped bow, sail and casing, like the USN subs? Just something I did inbetween working on Darthpanda's damned F-111B's (Now I know why he cursed all those squadron markings!) and some other stuff: http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e42/MihoshiK/Submarines/The...

the problem with these new drawings shows 3 different ships. look at the details.... the top one has another gun, the second one shows an structure without the gap in the center..... but you are right on some points. the fact is: we can't get it entirely right, just because the design changed a lot...
