I think the forward vertical missile launchers would be unmaintainable if they fit at all, and I'm not sure why the flight deck overhangs extend so far down--it seems like they would slam unpleasantly in even moderate seas. I agree that the number of aircraft shown is probably optimistic (not that this doesn't happen in real life!). Two helos and six Harriers seems much more workable. Maintenance in the portrayed version, even routine and minor, seems very tricky. Six Harriers seems like a convenient sweet spot in that...

A nicely-executed drawing, although I have some concern about the footprint of the foremast. More spread between structural elements would be good-looks like it's only about twelve feet right now, compared to more like twenty feet on Fuso or Hiei around the same time.
