I've not read anything specific about such a mount - given that it was mounted ashore only in RL I'm not sure such a thing would have been necessary? Navweaps.com claims there to be efforts to navalize the gun. I'm just wondering if you came across any truth to that claim...... I can see if I can f...

Does anyone plan to do a Bell D-188A a.k.a. F-109 / XF3L in Shipbucket scale?

Figure it would go nicely with a fantasy North Carolina and/or South Dakota class skijump hybrids (which admittedly are what I have in mind to do). :D

Germany didn't have much in way of dedicated landing crafts. The only ones that springs to mind are the various Marinefahrpramme (sp?) That's correct, you only missed the Siebel ferry, but that was an army project (amazingly Oberst Siebel was with Luftwaffe). I think that's what will fit best if th...

Does anyone know: of all the landing craft available to Germany by 1941, which one is the smallest that can carry a 251/1 halftrack to the shore?

(I have a rather awful sense of scale, so please bear with me here......)
