Welp.
I don't know what can be added to that, really ;)
This is setting a new bar that will be hard to vault, or even consider trying.

Aw, come on, the slamming is much worse but the stability is improved in both cases... What became of these boats since the 80s if the performance was that bad? Anyway, the drawing is really great, I like the detail of the new bow. One doubt though, is it normal that the flag on the stack switches f...

Just coming across those, real great work, a nice level of detail and shape for the SB scale.
Looking forward to seeing more of those!

Thanks everyone, the compliments mean a lot coming from such SB veterans. I have been fiddling with these things a lot to get my hand into the drawing style, and I guess I'll keep adding new ones as I work my way up the drawing size scale in parallel. Don't hesitate to ask if you need other SSMs, I ...

looks nice, how about Raduga's SSMs to complete the set? I never intended to split missiles per OKB, the Chelomei series was just based on a drawing that was floating around on Balancer's (I think) a while back. And but so anyway, in order to avoid splitting hairs with Raduga here and Novator...

And here is the sister class Pr.1124. I won't repeat the common write-up, that you can find to learn more about the class in that post . http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp181/citizen_lambda/Shibpucket%20drafts/ak_pr.1124_variants_RC1.1_zpsrazzujhh.png~original The idea is the same as the post abo...

Thanks for the feedback, Hood.

You have a point on the rivets, I have removed them but kept the joint lines between the armored plates.
See the original post for the new version.

I think I've reached a compromise between amount of different shades and visible relief. Here is the same series with no more than 3 colors on cylindrical shapes. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp181/citizen_lambda/Soviet-russian_ashms_chelomei_v2_zpspl2bxwzb.png~original On a related topic, her...

I would argue against removing the 76mm for mission reasons. This is, as I understand, a missile patrol boat meant to go against Soviet forces in European theaters. These Soviet forces include a lot of similar FACMs, the most recent of which carry 76mm guns. Let's not forget the lessons of the Yom K...

Really good looking!
I was surprised at first by the angle of the deck, but pictures confirm it. Guess I had never seen it under that angle.
