Minor nitpick to an otherwise fantastic drawing Heuhen. SÆL was a "torpedobåt av 1. klasse", not 3rd Class like the drawing says. We didn't really have any "torpedobåt av 3. klasse" save for MYG, which was a prototype that didn't really work out that well and was struck in 1920 and sunk during live ...

I highly doubt the logistics ship could have a 76mm. Remember that the role of the logistics ship is to resupply the frigates and coastal corvettes, hopefully well outside the danger zone, so it would at most have a gun-based CIWS (40MM or thereabouts), 12.7mm machine guns, and probably a Mistral Si...

The NANSEN-class use the Sjøbjørn 25 (length 7.8 meters), like all other Navy and Coast Guard ships large enough to accomodate the Sjøbjørn. They have a dedicated davit, not any seperate cranes (though they can be lifted by ordinary ship's cranes if need be). Sadly, my ship doesn't have Sjøbjørn bec...

Heuhen, do you have any sources that can confirm that the FNAN-class will get 40MM? Also, your typos are embarrasing. It's "Fridtjof Nansen" and "Thor Heyerdahl". Please, for your own personal and our national pride's sake, get it right!

Interesting. Are the internal arrangements with regard to crew habitability significantly altered, or do they enjoy the same far-less-than-satisfactory-by-Western-standards standard that Soviet and Russian ships are notorious for (no showers for 10+ days at a time, cold running water for the crew fo...
