Looks really nice, now it's more evident that you took inspiration from the Admiral class battlecruisers, and you managed also to inhert their elegance. I have a bunch of suggestions for your springsharp report, you can cut the armour belt height by 3 meters and add that number to the anti-torpedo b...

posted Tone as of 1943 and 1945 and Chikuma as of 1944.
the first post contains all the drawings with accompaining text, so the Tone class project is completed.

it was a bit short, but except radars and AA guns not much changed on the Tones between 1938 and 1945.

Tone 1938: Designed to provide scout planes for carrier task forces the Tone class sporte...

Wouldn`t those have been the most powerful heavy cruisers ever designed as none has had more than ten 8 inch guns?

good job, that layout gets rid of the original aft placed torpedoes problem, they would loose their stern if hit almost for sure as they where originally designed.

Matt, may i ask you a question? the Proto-Soryu that CanisD has posted in my IJN never-where thread is the G-6 carrier in your list? Also, i might do them (and the Tamano Fleet oiler) if i find out credible sources about their dimension, otherwise i cannot even scale the drawings to draw them correc...
