What is NS? What is north point? NS as in naval system? But i really dont get what north point is... NS is short for Nationstates , an online simulation game which accounts for a large portion of AU drawings on here. North Point is a Nationstates nation, specifically the one Colosseum uses. Hope th...

So, I've heard a lot about NS and "NSfags" who don't know anything about naval warfare, and we've seen our fair share of impractical ship designs and mentions of "missilespam" in Roleplays, which often causes many Shipbucketers, even those from NS, like me, to cringe. However, someone (Questers) has...

She seems to make decent-looking planes though. http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/9026/vares.png The Vares "Stealth" Fighter Our first low-observable fighter, the Vares (Crow). Originally designed to counter the threat of the T-50, it has replaced the L-39 Albatross as our main fighter, relegating ...

Anyway, I'd guess it means torpedoboat in this context. I asked her and she said she invented the term to mean a boat which has internal torpedo bays in the hull (above the water) from which it can drop torpedoes directly into the water. ...so according to her the Japanese had torpedo loggers durin...

Vine-derived fuel? Let me guess, you're using kudzu. :P Absolutely right. One person's weed infestation is another's natural resources wet dream. In my NS nation the industry is booming; a LOT of it is grown on large farms, hillsides, and massive fences and seeds are replanted faster than the kudzu...

It's funny really. When discussing tanks, everybody pulls out this fact when the M1 comes up, but nobody seems to make the connection when it comes to ships. I saw something about the ANZAC -class frigate using a gas turbine and thought "Whoa", then I looked up the Burke -class and found out it als...

As for this: Why does he claim that its ability to run on bio...

Can't see the link at all. Might have something to do with the fact that I got myself banned from NS  I would guess it's a trawler for torpedo nets. I thought if you were banned it meant you couldn't create nations, not that you couldn't see what the pages look like. Hmmm... EDIT: For klag...

I was browsing the forums on NS and found an RP news story where someone was apparently RPing having produced a Solar/biogas turbine hybrid cruiser (interesting enough) and a fully solar-powered ship called a "torpedo logger". Being a bit of a naval enthusiast I was surprised I did not know what thi...

I am currently working on the conceptual Boeing Pelican. This is the reference drawing: http://www.aviationexplorer.com/airliner_pictures/Boeing_Pelican_Compared_To_Boeing_747.jpg Believe it or not this actually IS in SB scale. The thing is a honking great beast. Point is I was working on it but I h...
