HNLMS Kortenaer is 98 meter long, that is 321,5223 meters. If you round that up, you get 321,6 feet. I recommend not to draw welding lines. You do not see it normally, and make it look cartoonish.

Also surfaces where the angle change direction 45 degree, you can use a dark grey color, then black. We use black color for 90 degree surface changes and outlines.

(artist name)

Since we don't have a specific section for Australian colony's and we should just collect them under Australia.

but as other people have said, the shading of the bow, isn't how we shade in shipbucket at all. we only shade for big overhang. And when we shade for an overhang we usually shade with two/three colors.
