Hi everybody, Firstly, I wanted to say thank you all for the time you've spent improving my frankly ridiculous drawing. There's no reason in the world for you to have spent the time that you have on it, and I appreciate that you did. Right, that said, got to a stage where I'm somewhat happy putting ...

Hi Apdaf,

This is the Waveney cruiser from here? http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... =18&t=3678

I note that there are some comments from KHT and Raxar that do not yet appear to be addressed, or did I miss something?

Um, at a risk of treading on ALVAMA's toes, I've also drawn a Freya (although it is a different version, pole-mounted rather than limber-mounted):

Hi Zephyr,

Just a query - I've seen other mention this on other designs - are double-row casemates not A Bad Thing?

Cheers,

Hi Heuhen, Getting the colur balance dialled in can be a long, time-consuming process (speaking as someone who has watched the designers at work do it), however. Given that there are already basic colours specified in RGB values on the beginners forums is this necessary? Also, just to add to the fun...

Hi KHT,

Probably showing more about what I don't know than anything else, but on the Konger Sverker XVIII class, wouldn't your aft director also have a fire-control radar on it as well? Or have I missed something ...?

Hi Ace, Yeah, there's a lot of decking-in to go on there (and I suspect the cat's going to move up a little) - this is early draft just to get major items like turrets, conning tower, funnels in the right sort of places. After the first one I did I figure the earlier I get a sanity check on these th...

Right, taking on board Ace's comments, here's another attempt - it looks like I simply misunderstood what you were all getting at with the V2 version. For the V3, the 203mm mounts are in wing mounts, reduced to doubles rather than triples to try and reduce the horrible, horrible things 8-in wing mou...

Hi Ace, Yeah, that's what I was worried about originally. This was an attempt to keep to the same belt length as the first version of the ship, but I don't think it's worked very well ... which will mean a longer belt length, bigger ship. *sigh* To be honest, it was daft enough anyway, but I suspect...

Hi all, After much constructive criticism, please find the very preliminary (and I mean very preliminary - this is only one step on the from AS0 gridwork pictures I use before I've drawn anything) revised version. Aside from the fact that the gatling gun is utterly, utterly silly, how is it? (Wincin...
