The shadows go both ways in some parts because there is superstructure infront of them. Maybe it can be removed in the stern secondary. Also the lack of black line in the lower deck is accepted in page 1, but I'll see.

I'll edit the last drawing

OK, after some painstaking reasearch and a repaint of the ship that took hours, this is the true colors of kaiserliche marine battleships. Unfortunately Rurik-2, the darker color of our ships until now is not correct. This is SMS Braunschweig as it should look: http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/547...

APDAF, interesting design. As for the casemates, they were usually up to 6, and in almost all the cases in a single row, rarely a second row of a couple more was used. I think this is what Rodondo wanted to say. Plus they added weight, and at the same time pierced the armor belt which neither was ve...

Karle94 wellcome on board! Your ship looks very good, but there is something wrong with the picture, it looks scaled down, like a preview. Maybe it is something to do with photobucket, but I don't know, I use imageshack

I asked Rurik-2 in his keiserliche fleet thread, but I wanna ask you too, cause I feel the paint scheme might not be correct. the scale models of the SMS ships I find have light grey paint, with even lighter painted superstructures. I nassau is almost finished, but I dread the fact that I have to ch...

Rurik-2 I want to ask you about the KM ships camo in WW1. Because I use the same with mine, but I have seen lighter grey being used often. Is it possible we can find a link that shows this accurately? I am almost done with the nassau, but the color in photos of scale models of it on the interent sho...

I like this version, whic btw is a very good drawing, not very unrealistic as a design, but quite unrealistic as an idea. Topredoes range during this period is a few thousand meters max, so by the time it is within range of a battleship, it is also under the sea, cause it is sunk.
