Very nice! Drawing a AU battleship, now that is tricky I'm so obsessed with the real designs that I know I'll end up modifing something real instead. Can't wait to see your next ship!

I don't think anyone is doing it. I make pre dreadnoughts, but haven't done any Russian ones yet, it would be interesting.

Like the the Caspian Sea Monster! Flowless drawing. I bet the Russians that came up with this were either batshit crazy, genius or both.

Amazing how they managed take what was basically a ww2 design and make so many variations and upgrades. I guess you make do with what you have and know. Great!

Well, I was thinking of SMS Nassau Keiser's first dreadnought. I wanted the French Danton, but this is already in the archive. Or maybe a French pre dreadnought. I can actually make very accuretely almost any pre-dreadnought, I have this book by Peter Hore http://i43.tower.com/images/mm102054317/iro...

Another Kaiserliche Marine pre-dreadnought, possibly the last one before I go to dreadnoughts.

As if I am responsible for the color scheme...   The guns are like that cause they are thin and they are painted white. When I find a better why to draw 2 line thick barrels white I'll remove the outline which I added.

Well, here we are, my first foreign ship. Might as well do more Kaiserliche Marine pre dreadnoughts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_F%C3%BCrst_Bismarck_%281897%29 I could not find a template to fit it well, this was the smallest one height wise to fit it. Not 100% finished yet, but if I get starte...

First quality work. I have made a Heller 1/400 King George V btw, and yours looks excellent. i think the guns are just fine. If I may, try to soften the edges on the stern hull, it is accurate dimensionally but will give it a better finish.
